Dupe ALERT!
I stumbled upon Revlon’s “Bare Bones” a few days ago and decided to pick it up just to find out I already had a color that is exactly the same!
“Bare Bones” is an exact dupe to Julep’s “Alyson”
The Colorstay line from Revlon retails at about $8-$9 while each Julep bottle retails at $14.
If you love this shade and want to save yourself a few bucks make sure to grab this.

Look under promotions in the MY ACCOUNT section, your code should be there! If not let me know and I will email Zoya.

I LOVE tulips they’re absolutely adorable, I saw this design on Cutepolish’s YouTube channel and it almost instantly went on my nails.
As a base I used Julep’s Mandy & layered it with OPI’s Guy Meets Gal-Veston, I used the same colors with the tulips and a black striper!

Chartreuse!
I wanted to wear something season “appropriate” and neons are IT right now!
I bought the Chartreuse color at Charlotte Russe long ago when I worked there, I applied 5 thick coats (EEEEK!) it was VERY streaky.
& the glitter is OPI’s “Crown Me Already” from the Miss Universe collection released in the summer of last year. This is one of the best glitters I’ve ever used! I has small fine silver glitters and huge hexagon shaped ones too, it applies amazingly; you get a lot with one coat.
I thought I was supposed to be over the whole glitter thing, I’m difinitely NOT!
By the way, Happy Princess week! I had no idea there was such a thing until today!! SO cute.
“Crown Me Already” seems to fit the theme perfectly! (:

OPI’s “Do You Think I’m Tex-y”
This “Sorbet” is part of OPI’s Texas Collection which came out in the spring of 2011. OPI describes it as “A “berry” sexy bloom of Dallas dahlia.”
This color reminds of a mixture of cherries and plums, I had a hard time debating between this color and “Houston We Have A Purple” they are both very similar, but this one has some kind of red undertone that I love. The formula was very sheer but easy to work with, I’m wearing about 5 coats and there is no VNL (which is always a plus!) I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE jelly’s/sorbets, it’s my favorite finish!
As an accent I used China Glaze’s “Seduce Me” and black/white stripers.

Zoya’s “Roxy”
I got Roxy back in January when Zoya had the get 2 free polishes promo, I saw a few swatches and I knew I had to get it!
When applied it reminds me of Deborah Lippmann’s “Bad Romance”/ Revlon’s “Facets Of Fuchsia” nothing at all like the swatches I had previously seen (maybe I got a “bad” bottle) I still like it though!
The formula was excellent, only needed two coats; the only downside is that it ABSORBS top coat, I applied 3 coats and probably should have used 2 more.

Roxy is available for purchase at the Zoya website http://zoya.com/ and it retails for $8
